Capire cosa vogliono comunicare attraverso i suoni emessi \u00e8 importante per definire se un fattore esterno pu\u00f2 influire negativamente o positivamente sul loro benessere.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>La bioacustica \u00e8 una delle nuove branche dell&#8217;allevamento di precisione in forte crescita negli ultimi anni. Catturando i suoni emessi dagli animali, queste nuove tecnologie traducono i segnali in dati, aiutando gli allevatori a monitorare pi\u00f9 facilmente un gran numero di animali.<\/p>\n<p>Nel 2019, CEALVET ha creato una Proof of Concept (PoC) insieme all&#8217;Universit\u00e0 Ram\u00f3n Llull per registrare in modo continuativo la vocalizzazione dei polli da carne in un vero allevamento commerciale, come primo approccio per convalidare la fattibilit\u00e0 dell&#8217;ottenimento di indicatori bioacustici dai polli. Il lavoro acustico svolto durante il progetto ITAM ha rappresentato una prima approssimazione per individuare differenze acustiche nelle vocalizzazioni animali dovute alla somministrazione di probiotici e prebiotici, al fine di dimostrare l&#8217;efficacia del prodotto attraverso l&#8217;espressione vocale. Il progetto svilupper\u00e0 una tecnologia bioacustica per ambienti industriali che consentir\u00e0 l&#8217;analisi dei dati di vocalizzazione dei polli, utilizzando algoritmi di apprendimento automatico per rilevare e registrare i livelli di stress nelle vocalizzazioni catturate da sensori IoT (Internet of Things). CEALVET \u00e8 leader del progetto che mira a migliorare significativamente il settore avicolo nel rispetto delle linee guida europee sul benessere e la salute degli animali.<\/p>\n<p>Nel 2024, CEALVET ha collaborato con la start-up SUBNIL IBERIA S.L., al progetto di ricerca &#8220;<i>Development and implementation of new technologies to adapt animal transport by road to climate change<\/i>&#8221; (TRANSBIOSAFE), dell&#8217;Unitat d&#8217;Innovaci\u00f3 i Transformaci\u00f3 Tecnol\u00f2gica. Il progetto si \u00e8 concentrato sull&#8217;applicazione nebulizzata del biocida naturale Sanidermix durante il trasporto di pollame e suini, con l&#8217;obiettivo di migliorare e valutare il benessere degli animali. A tal fine, le vocalizzazioni animali sono state analizzate utilizzando la tecnologia VocalData di CEALVET, utilizzando parametri bioacustici come la frequenza e il numero di vocalizzazioni. Inoltre, \u00e8 stato condotto un monitoraggio ambientale continuo per identificare situazioni di stress associate a fattori climatici avversi, come temperature elevate e livelli di umidit\u00e0. I \u200b\u200brisultati hanno convalidato Sanidermix come prodotto non tossico che contribuisce al miglioramento del benessere degli animali e alla riduzione del consumo di acqua ed energia, nonch\u00e9 alla riduzione dei processi di trattamento delle acque reflue, rispetto ai biocidi sintetici. Come risultato finale, il progetto ha permesso di sviluppare un modello predittivo basato sull&#8217;Intelligenza Artificiale in grado di rilevare precocemente problemi di benessere animale durante il trasporto, garantendo al contempo gli standard di biosicurezza.<\/p>\n<p>CEALVET si \u00e9 spinta oltre e, nel 2025, nell&#8217;ambito di un progetto Agrotech insieme a CTAQUA, ha realizzato una prova di concetto che consiste nel catturare i suoni emessi da pesci o crostacei nell&#8217;ambiente acquatico per analizzarne il comportamento in relazione all&#8217;alimentazione e alla disinfezione con il biocida naturale Sanidermix.<\/p>\n<p>CEALVET pone il benessere animale al centro della propria missione, con l&#8217;obiettivo di fornire all&#8217;industria avicola, e non solo, la possibilit\u00e0 di monitorare costantemente, rapidamente e in modo obiettivo la salute degli animali.
